Chapel Street, Mosborough
“This new build on a former skip yard brings with it a much improved street scene to the village. The ‘V’ design and extensive use of glass minimizes scale while complimenting the surroundings. Reclaimed and sustainable materials are used throughout the construction.”
- Green Apple Awards for the Built Environment and Architectural Heritage
Tucked away from the main street, hidden by the other houses on this small development, the front façade indicates nothing of what is inside or the views from the rear elevation. The dwelling won a Gold Green Apple Award for projects that enhance the built environment or protect our architectural heritage. The house is constructed recycled stone backings, reclaimed from leftover cropped stone. This stone was laid in drystone form.
